D r ift i n g
grief
i’ve lost who i am
a part of me
d r i f t e d
away, with the abuse
i miss it.
it was me and it’s not my fault it was taken.
my innocence was put away
it’s still there, but in a box i had to hide for my safety
far
away
i can’t even remember how happy
my innocence
made me feel
protected
with
no
worries
or
regrets

I wrote this peice when I was going through a really hard time and it helped me get through it when I wrote about it. This poem means a lot to me.
