Favorite Quote:
The wise man seeks answers at the bottom of a bottle. It is by the depth and contents of the bottle that you can tell the depth and contents of the man. And I'm not just talking alcohol. Could be all kinds of bottles. Pills, colas, etc. All kinds.

My god is Seketo’a

And he is a slippery, fishy thing

His eyes are lightest gray,

and surrounded by a dark ring

He’s been to Liérganes, Shumagin, and Chile

They also call him Oannes, Pontus, or Lu Ting

I call him Seketo’a, and it’s in his name I pray

It is in his name I write black books and in his name I sing

I learned the songs from my father and I shall teach them to my son

We’ll write and we’ll sing ‘til Seketo’a comes back, to make all peoples one

I was inspired to do this by some research I was doing into the fish gods of antiquity. I hope this will not only entertain and spook, but also inspire others to look into the gods of fish.
