Blessed by the Best
The person I am most thankful for is my mom.
She sometimes refers to herself as Da Bomb.
If you can’t tell, she’s kind of crazy
And often tries to not be lazy.
She’s the nicest person I know
And loves watching her children grow.
My mom is in charge of two hospital floors
And makes sure everything stays orderly indoors.
Her job usually keeps her on the phone,
But she never leaves us alone.
Every Friday she takes us out to eat
To the best restaurant on the street.
She is always there for me and has my back
And ensures that I never slack.
She supports me at all of my sports games
To the point of knowing all of my teammates’ names.
She always knows when I’m stressed
And always helps me be my best.
My mom is so much fun when she is around;
A dull moment can never be found.
Without my mom, I wouldn’t know what to do,
But luckily I don’t have to.
