If my cruise ship had sailed,

Just a bit longer,

Would the engines ruttle, and then,

Burst?

The right amount of spillage,

Would do the job,

Of setting the sea ablaze.

Pilgriming flames, searching for hearth,

On rough-cut waters

If the right amount of oil,

Could set the sea ablaze,

How many times, would

Mother Nature waste her breath,

To bring our beloved, deep sea back?
