And the lamb,
Head rested on your lap. it seems tranquil.
Have you yet to tell it about the nature of sacrifice?
Are you sympathetic?
The sun comes down and the moon rises and yet you sit there, stroking the wool of its back.
And the lamb knows.
It's fate, your intentions.
But it stays still. for it just wants to see the moon one last time.
