under a green sun
in a yellow sky
with a purple you
and a blue me
a beautiful song in our ears
walking, running
flying, soaring.
Under a white sun,
In a gray sky,
With fake people,
And gray buildings,
A nagging voice in our minds.
Walking, trudging,
Dragging, crawling.
Sometimes I hear that distant song,
Buried deep within the reaches of my mind.
Sometimes I dream,
And I see us,
under a sun
in a sky
you and me.
