When the flame goes out,

You’re supposed to die, right?

When the river runs dry,

You’re supposed to die, right?

When the water fills your lungs,

You’re supposed to die, right?

When the stone pulls you under,

When your lungs stop breathing

And your heart stops beating

And your chest stops heaving
