My lungs still breathe,

My mind still fears,

My heart still beats.

I can feel mental pain,

Feel physical pain.

But I can't run or hide,

From demons raging inside.

All it takes to ignite,

Fire in my heart is small.

I battle myself everyday,

For I talk with words,

Sharp as a blade.

No one will save me,

One thing left to do,

End it all and leave soon.

The author's comments:

This is about the moment when you "realize" the only way out of a situation is to end your life but this holds as a reminder that when you bully someone, when you talk down to someone, you could be ending someones life.

look up running with the wolves wolfwalkers. it actually sorta inspired a long thing I wrote(interwoven wolves)
