I Wish It Wasn't True

You’ve been there since the beginning,
Still I can’t help but feel this is not living.
You make me feel so paranoid,
But when you’re gone there’s a void.
When did I start to lose myself?
Some days I want to run away,
And hide up on the highest shelf.
Maybe I’ll run today.
When did I start to think,
That I could make myself believe,
In what it is you are telling me.
In all the things I cannot see?
“They love you”
Even a blind man could see that that’s not true.
“Two more years”
Yeah, two years till I face my biggest fears.
I wish I knew how to tell you,
I wish it wasn’t true,
But I’m completely in love with you.
Even when I’m separated from you.
