The Unknown Lover

He watched her like a hawk,
He claimed she was his.
His property and no one else's.
She went to school and did all the normal things,
Not knowing she was his.
Not knowing she was being watched or protected.
Nothing ever happened to her,
But he stays in his position as her protector.
She always has an eerie feeling at home and in school
But she was the perfect little girl
And nothing had ever happened to her before.
It wasn't a scary feeling,
It was a feeling of overwhelming safety.
She never knew it was he who loved her more than anything else.
