"Every secret of a writer's soul, every experience of his life, every quality of his mind, is written large in his works." Virginia Wolf

Roar like thunder,

Run like the wind.

Strike like lightning,

With the courage to win.

A few setbacks,

Won't stop me now.

Took me a while,

To see the truth,

But when bad things,

Are thrown at you,

You'll see it too.

First steps into reality,

Are hard but no matter what,

You must remember one thing,

Love beats hate is the code to win.

The author's comments:

This poem talks about overcoming challenges but the meaning is hidden in the words and that when you try you can do anything. Also, if I can write a happy poem, you can be the best person you want to be.

"It Will Be Good." (complicated semi-spiritual emotional story.)

"Upon his bench the pieces lay
As if an artwork on display
Of gears and hands
And wire-thin bands
That glisten in dim candle play." -Janice T., Clockwork[love that poem, dont know why, im not steampunk]

if happy poetry means being a good person then I worse that Kim song-il. altho I did write a couple poems recently that weren't... like pain and suffering.
