Strong Tears
June 13, 2021
She cries
and is weak
her pain is known
and is scorned
she cries because she is going through a test
of endurance, and strength
and she's wearing thin
she cries because she trusts you
to show her tears to
she cries because she's strong
shes strong to endure
and shes strong enough to share
she cries but doesn't fall
she cries but doesn't need to be saved
she cries and she can handle it herself
she cries and isn't fragile or weak or in need
she cries, how do you respond?

Can I join the pity party? Months ago, my dad said something to me that was so cold it blotted out all the loving things he's said to me since. Every time I think of it, I want to burst out crying. I have had turmoil about it ever since. I shoudln't be like this, but I am. And once in homeschool drama camp, everyone socialized at one table while I was the only one at a completely separate table. That week was so awful that I humiliated myself over my loneliness. The whole time I was onstage, I was literally on the verge of tears. I thought I would go home and cry, but here's the sucker punch--no tears would come afterwards.

didnt write this about me. but heres an interesting fact: apparently when I cry because I don't have a place to hide i get yelled at. yhanks, that makes me feel so much better

it would kinda be rude to say you.
i don't cry very often, and almost never in front of people. just when I'm really lonly at church and right now because somethings happening that I don't want to talk about at all let alone online(and if I did a person could get in legal trouble).

poor girl
again not about me or anything related. I was looking at tears art (i have a doc full of art that ends up turning into a short story) and I saw a picture of a woman crying that irritated me. First, she was wiping the tears away as if they were shameful. Secondly, the underlying message was that she was weak, so I felt like writing.
