Colors
We live in a colorful world
Vibrant kaleidoscopes defining our lives
The rich reds of roses brighten up a storefront
A soft orange fills a carbonated soda can
The burning yellow of our neighborhood star- the sun
Brillant rolling green hills across the plains
The clear blue might of our massive oceans
Stunning indigo of bluebonnets
The impressive violet of a juicy grape
It is so safe to say that all the ‘’bright colors’ get the most love, but...
Remember gray, as anonymous as a shadow
And black, filling the empty spaces in our mind
White on a blank canvas
Brown buried under the more popular colors
Without them, some colors as we know it will cease to exist
No bright bubble gum pink, a combo of red and white
No deep earthy green, supplied by green and black
So many different combinations, and so many creations idly waiting to be created
Individually, they are bold, dazzling, and mysterious.
Melded together they are exotic, awe-inspiring, and life-changing.
Sometimes our ideas are just like.
Because collaborating brings out the best of ALL worlds.
When we band together and mix our ideas, it gives a fresh perspective and something new to see.
Putting together interests and ideas is how revolutionary movements are formed.
A poem explaining how colors and ideas aren't so far apart
