I was searching in a sea of faces

A sea of things

With eyes that flitted but did not focus

And looked but could not see

I was turning around and around

And down but never up

But could not find

I was asking for answers from those with no words

And I was fleeing those with truths

And I was listening to those with words but no truth

I was on the run fleeing myself

And I was seeking blind

And I was lost and could not ask directions

And I was lost and asked directions 

Only to get lies

Or false directions, anyway

It's all the same

And I was lost and got true directions

But I turned them down

And I was lost

And then I was found
