They say...
Climb any mountain
Swim any sea
Everything I am
You've helped me to be
And when you leave, I want you back immediately
It's like an urgency On the phone "911, what's your emergency?"
Like false prescriptions
You fit right into my description
If you were a drug, you'd be my addiction.
And in addition...
You've always been my volition
You're my delight
Even when it's dark you shine
So bright
You've helped me raise my pride
Together, we have laughed and cried
I couldn't see anyone else by my side

I could sense rich layers of emotions inside your poem. I really like "they say" at the beginning of the poem, creating a contrast to what comes after. Not sure about the rhyming though, sometimes it feels like the rhymes are a little repetitive and forced. Just my personal opinion! A great piece of poetry.
