Mirror.
I look in the cracked glass of the mirror
Staring myself down.
Looking at every
imperfection
And I see so many things in this mirror
So many things I don’t like.
So instead of losing myself IN the mirror
I focus on the light carefully letting itself embrace the mirror.
The light yellow engulfed the cracked glass.
I look and look and look.
And eventually, I forget
About the person
Staring back at me…
In the mirror.
