Dear Younger Me
Do you realize how much time you lose hoping it just goes faster?
Do you realize all the memories you’re about to miss?
You have no responsibilities, nothing to lose.
Go have fun, test the limits before they’re set.
You’re loved, you’re protected, you’re brave,
you’re young and full of energy, of motivation.
Use that to your advantage,
and do everything you’ve ever imagined.
Being a kid is the best, but no one ever really tells you that.
You find out when it’s already too late.
Be as weird as you want, talk to everyone.
Memories make everything worth it when it’s over.
