Back to a time when I didn’t care

When I didn’t have to worry about college

Or what I want to do when I am older

Back to when things were simple

When I couldn’t tie my shoes

And when I couldn’t read

When I couldn’t reach the kitchen counter

Back to when I didn’t have a care in the world

I want to go back to preschool

When I would get to sleep during the day

And not take 2 tests in one day

And not worry about my grades

I want to go back to when I could draw all day

When I didn’t have to worry about my math homework

Or writing my history paper

Back to when I had free time

I want to go back

Back to when people did not care what I did

Or when I was not worried about school

Back to the simpler times in life
