It was a cold and crisp morning,

The morning of Christmas,

The children were exploding with excitement,

they could not wait any longer,

they shot up from bed and ran to their parents room,

the children jumped all over their parents,

the parents woke up and led them outside,

the kids quickly sorted out presents,

as soon as they were done the children tore away the paper like a lion attacking its prey,

once the children were done they snatched their toys,

thanked their parents, and bolted inside to go play with them,

the parents and children were as pleased as can be
