Imperfect Perfection
Nothing is constant
That is life itself
Leaves will fall
light shall fade
Tides wait for none
Some find beauty
Others find grace
Some even find serenity
Or a safe place
Nature is perfect
In an imperfect way
I struggle to understand
So I look on with a perplexed gaze
What do you see
Do you see the colors
Or the animals I ponder
Or are you one who may fear
The unatureal of natural
Like losing what you love
Falling once the rug slips
Because you love the moments
And wish for nothing but it
I know nothing is constant
Never has been
Neither will be
I hope you will see the beauty
And Someday at least
When that day comes
I hope you will look up
And be reminded of me
Sometimes we have to stop thinking and enjoy the moments when we can.
