people wonder how i never lose my luster
i reflect light so easily, everyone is left bewildered
because no matter what filter you look at me through
you will never see me break down
i can fool everyone i know
creating an illusion out of myself
but i’ll never be able to trick myself
into believing i’ll ever be more than unruly
a mirror so cracked that you can’t see it properly
