How to raise a daughter
1. Make sure she knows that she is loved. Who would want a depressed daughter, right?
2. Remind her to take her daily vitamins so she remains loveable.
3. Don't let her run out into the streets.
4. Cover up every mirror in the house. Forget to cover up the one in her room.
5. Spend time with her only in front of said mirror. She will watch you carefully as you pick at every hill on your body.
6. Talk about how little you eat. She won't understand how someone so beautiful could eat less than her. She will notice as you move your fork across a full plate for hours while telling her that the food will make her grow big and strong.
7. By the time she is 13, she will eat as little as you. And you will wonder where you went wrong. Read parenting books, but don't follow them.
8. She is 15 now. Don't listen to her when she asks you for help. She may cry in your arms but don't believe that she needs help. Watch her waste into a skeleton, but don't help her.
9. Remind her that she is loved after all.
