Gloom and Doom
I wish to run a thousand miles away;
From remorse in every goodbye
And suffocating hues of red sky,
When night takes over the day,
Quietly as leaves shed their old homes.
The Silence rips the Serene Storms,
And my dreams swing in dark abyss.
Maybe I was destined for a night like this;
By the deserted moor I sit,
Muddled in misty stillness.
Sleep runs and I chase it.
I see my shadow in my hands but I erase it.
Today I’ll go home empty handed;
To breathe in the deepest depths of darkness.
Now, I am yearning for a last sway;
To whirl under the vault of heaven,
Until I finally melt away.

Words have always played a mystifying role in pulling me out of the darkness that ever whirled around me. I paint the blank canvas of my mind with words that will one day rip the silence of the world.
