Books Full of Life
People are like an unfinished book
All having stories to share and tell
Some are wide open for all to read
While others are locked with a key
Some have beautiful and satisfying covers
While others are bland and colorless
Each story in it’s pages is essential to the book
Each word has a uniqueness like no other
Everyday we add new stories to the book
Making a never ending cycle of wonder
Constantly adding more attractions to your book
No matter who you are
No matter where you came from
Who you were a years ago
Who you are now in the present
Your story is still being written
Your story is like no others
And you story deserves to be told
I was reading my book a couple of nights ago, when I made the connection of how books and people are so much alike, creating this poem.
