Apple Picking
Red fields run wild,
as yellow stars fade away.
The night becomes longer,
with each passing day.
Bees sweet as honey,
surround sappy trees.
Serpents whisper words of wonder,
pleasing ears with ease.
Golden orbs sound like bells,
ringing oh so sweet.
Palms of iridescent wings,
find themselves a treat.
Far up high and out of sight,
ambrosia apples glow.
They sing a song so luring,
their words begin to flow.
The crunch of an apple,
the crunch of the sky.
We bring back ageless autumn,
filled with crows that fly.
Colorful memories of every fall,
every smiling face.
You think of all the times you cherish,
And every apple place.
