You made me want to be basic
You made me want to settle down
You made me want to have some big, dumb, fancy wedding
You made me want to have two dumb kids
You made me want to get a nice, safe house
With 3 big, dumb bedrooms
With a stupid picket white fence
So our dumb kids could play safely
And we could live some stupid, basic, happy life
You made me want to live the American dream
And the worst part is
I still want to
With you
You made me want the stupid, fake, American dream
