Shinier than a new knife
It cuts all the past regrets
Eliminates the need to fret
A cleansing of our minds
As resolutions, we try to find
The atmosphere is alive
As we wait for the next 365
The celebrations, they are vast
As we move on from the past
We have deep aspirations
With high expectations
The ambitions are endless
For our goals we are relentless
Amazing like a myth
As are the parties on the 365th
We unite and come in prosperity
As we make way for the posterity
