I think if she could 

Take the stress away with the lifting of a pinky 

Leave me light and carefree 

I don't know if she could handle it 

Could she handle the aches and pains my young body suffers 

The sore muscles and cramps from a sport I no longer love 

Continuing on in hopes of a scholarship 

In hopes that I will be seeked out

To take me to a school 

To continue my aches my cramps my pains this heavy weight on my back 

Could she take on that weight

I have a schedule so tight and there's no room for mistakes 

Rushing to each class to be the first one there 

The best one there 

The only one there 

Eyes burning after hours of homework 

Up to see the day break

Im expected to have friends 

Assumed that I have extra time to spend 

Time where my eyes don't burn and my pains don't follow me 

Where Im light and carefree 

Yet i'm bogged down by this weight on my shoulders 

Left alone with it to carry
