My Lifeless body
The slow soft hand of a loved one running along the side of your face. The sweet whispers emerging from their lips as you lay still in bed. They have a slight break in their voice as they recall memories of you together. Saying that they will never be able to create those kinds of memories with anyone else. They wish and pray for you to open your eyes and come back to them, but all you can do is lay there. Your body is unable to move, words unable to form, and breath unable to escape from your lungs. They bend down and kiss your forehead softly. You are trapped in the lifeless body of which you used to be connected with. Tears leave their eyes, landing on your cheek. “Goodbye, my love.”
