Shadows
The shadows that are there
The ones you cannot see
The shadow that is here
The ones that belong to me
Their faint voices in my ear
The chill that’s in my bones
Shadows join every year
In shades of darkly colored tones
They don’t hurt me but they haunt me
Following me everywhere
Seeing everything I see
With their ghostly stare
