No One Warned Me
No one warned me
I would feel so deeply.
It wasn’t like the movies,
Where the girl found her Prince Charming
And they run off and live happily ever after.
It was more like I fell for my kidnapper,
She stole the key to my heart,
She took my breath out of my lungs.
She made me love myself,
And I fell harder every day.
Every song was about her,
Every lyrics spoke her name.
It’s like she brain washed me,
Yet she’d never harm a fly.
Everytime I’d see her,
My hearts beats uncontrollably.
My breath gets short,
And my heart hurts when I hear her laugh.
I’ve never felt this way before,
I’ve never knew how painful it is
To be in love.
