No more tapping on the wall.
No more kicks on her chair
Her shoulder was cold, as was his.
He didn’t care, or did he?
Could those years be nothing?
Removing the number
One message saying goodbye.
One saying to disappear already.
“Get the f**k out of my life.” He screamed.
She held on tight but couldn’t any longer.
“Goodbye,” she said.
Dreaming no more, she removed his number.
