A Fire Called Hope
Wishes could be crushed,
Dreams could be forgotten,
What is loved could be hated,
Negativity can grow from a sprouting seedling to an ever-growing tree,
and as for memories,
the bad ones seem more significant than the good ones.
The only path to growth is to cling to hope,
No matter how fragile it might seem,
It's still light in the dark,
A flame of hope that could wither and die at any time,
But still brought a glow into the gloom.
