Serene Shores
The beach, where land meets sea.
A place of constant ebb and flow
A canvas for the sun to paint
Its hues on waves that come and go.
The sand, a soft and shifting bed.
That molds to feet with every step
A playground for the young and old
A stage for nature's endless set.
The salt air fills my lungs with life.
As seagulls soar and dip and dive
A symphony of sound and sight
A peaceful place where I can thrive.
The water, a mirror for the sky
Reflects the colors of the day.
A place where I can lose myself.
And all my troubles drift away.
The sun sets fire to the clouds.
A final burst of brilliance, then
The day dissolves into the night
And I am left to dream again.
The beach, a place of endless wonder
A source of joy and calm and peace
A place where I can always go.
And find my soul's sweetest release.
