Wolf In Sheep's Clothing
No longer do the lights gleam; fall into insanity.
As each child screamed; tried to flee, more children grew closer to the door of lore.
Unwitnessed, the crimes went unseen, unheard.
He is a wolf in a sheep herd.
Hushed voices surround the door. “Don’t go through this door, it is the door of lore!”
Their warnings go unheard, the children don't get the last words.
The ghosts of which cry out to the remaining three, “Run children, flee!”
The children could not flee, unfortunately.
Later on, when all is gone, in a new decade, there are the new three.
Running, fleeing, still deaf to hear the warnings, all but one escapes the wolf, in sheep’s clothing.
