Drifting Nowhere
Waves on the ocean
Take me away somewhere
I cast the oars overboard
And lie back, eyes towards the stars
The waves still
And I’m drifting over a mirror
Stars above me, stars below me
Until the boat disappears
And I’m drifting through the nothingness
Between the stars
Somewhere
Anywhere
Drift, drifting, drifted
Away
