Haunted Beauty
Last night I dreamt of Golden hour.
Running into the ocean in Malibu.
It reminded me of going on the boat back home.
With a cold Arizona tea in my hand.
The lumineers play as we drive with the wind in our hair.
Then it was dark.
Storming.
I’m alone in the dark night but as I looked around I saw Ty.
His dark hair reflects the moonlight.
I felt safe.
But also it felt like a sign.
A sign that even when you are surrounded by beauty, the dark always haunts you.
