Blue and Brown Make the Beach
Everybody in my family has brown eyes, except for my dad. My dads eyes are like a bright blue ocean. But my eyes are like the brown leaves in the middle of fall. Our eyes are like walking in graceful green grass during spring. Our eyes are seasons. Our eyes are very different, like opposite ends of a battery, like left and right handed, like a sunrise and sunset. My eyes look as if they smell like warm cookies. My dads look as if they smell like crystal blue water. My eyes are as brown as the dirt in the ground, while my dads are as blue as the ice on a glacier.
His eyes make me think of a beach, with the water smiling back at me and the clouds laughing in joy seeing the beautiful beach. With the slippery but salty sea shore and smart seagulls on the beach. Our eyes are bright, yet different.
Although our eyes are very different, we share many of the same qualities and have a strong relationship.
