The people who are truly bored have yet to realize
They have yet to write a story,
To create some art,
To put themselves to use.
And it’s hard to find a friend
Upon swathes of these bored,
Bored people.
Artists need more than gossip and makeup
The talk of the town
Or who and whom.
Find your people.

I absolutely love your first stanza! I haven't heard someone say something quite like that before, but it is too true
It’s hard to befriend people who don’t care or never will. There are people who get you; they’re just hard to find.
