"Numquam finitur, donec vita finiatur."
- K. D'Angelo Alexander

Forever; It is a word better used to describe memories,

Instead of people

Relationships; Unlike memories,

Do not last forever

People; Although they often wish not to,

Will eventually die with their memories

Memories; Seemingly forever, of people and places,

Of relationships, and faces, eventually will die with their people

Death; Often feared, for reasons easy to fathom,

For it is a reasonable thing to fear

Death; The one thing that is forever,

Although most wish it not to come near

Death; It can bring either happiness,

Or tears

Life; It is so full of meaning, purpose, joy, and sadness,

Something so beautiful, driving some to madness,

Often goes

Wasted

An impromptu poem, rather nontraditional, about the fallacy of the word "forever."
