Aurora
The moon shines bright over me, I'm not sure how it can be so bright. It glistens over the water creating orange and silver reflections that shine over my face. I slowly weep and It shows pink, then green, and some blue. I shiver in the coldness as the wind brushes through my hair, picking through every strand as if it is trying to grab me and pull me away. I lean into it as it caresses me over the cheek, gently and softly. I feel whispers flow in one ear and out the other, telling me to “let go” of what is weighing me down, but I can’t. It haunts me, this aurora. The colors bring me into a deep darkness never to be forgotten. Oh the moon shines on the waves as they crash over me, pulling me deeper into its grasp. I will never be let go.
