When I look up
I see twinkling stars,
The Big Dipper
I see hope
I see a future of possibilities.
Sometimes
When I look behind me
I see my art
I see pride
I see disgust.
Sometimes
When I look in front of me
I see my mirror
I see failure
I see defeat.
But when
I look back up
I see that
The stars are still aligned.
