I can feel the world as it revolves

And the sun staring back into me

A dark room and to lay on the floor would be nice

and I have been asked before

”Out of all this choice of seating, you chose to lay on the floor?”

And I chose what I did 

because the ground is the only thing that can keep one grounded.

I want to be in the only room this place has

with barely any empty space left on the walls

And since I can’t have my favorite pair of lovely green eyes,

I’d gladly take my second favorite pair.

Because when the world has just gone mad

I need a person who’s found a method to our worlds madness,

as well as their own.
