The second-shortest poem that I have written. Another pun, if you think about it.
“Divergence of the state of mind” meaning someone who has gone “insane,” or diverges from what society has deemed “normal” was my intention, making the actual poem have some sense to it. A mind that has “split,” if you will. The pun is in the format: the word “split” has been split.
