“The world is almost peaceful when you stop trying to understand it.”

"Serenity now!"

"My coach said I ran like a girl. I told him if he ran a little faster he could, too."
― Mia Hamm

I wish that I could see the future,

beaming out like headlights.

how its beauty shimmers,

yet my naked eyes can’t see it.

Instead, I stand on top of a cliff,

choking on the clouds,

somewhere in between.

The world is taunting me,

flashing ruby, cyan, ruby, cyan.

The past is already fading like

the haze of crimson tail lights.

I wish I wasn’t Robert Frost’s traveler,

stuck in between.

This poem was written combining three different poems that I wrote, a wish poem, a dream poem, and a lie poem.
