I'm 18 now, 

But the new question is how?

How am I going to fit in this new world, 

A world where expectations are high, 

And everything you have to buy,

When someone asks me about college I sigh, 

Because I still have to apply,

A world where everyone will eventually die, 

Everyone walks by but no one ever says hi, 

Now that I'm a grown guy,

I am not allowed to cry, 

But I already know failure is a lie, 

I will always try and defy, 

Because I've been twirled,

I've been swirled, 

I've even been hurled, 

But when I'm hurled into the sky, 

I will always fly, 

And to those who forced me to comply, 

To unfair treatment I couldn't deny, 

F ya'll, David Doxtader no longer needs to rely, 

Now I'm my own ally, 

I soon won't need other peoples supply, 

I'm 18 now you don't need spy, 

If you don't agree with what I'm trying to imply, 

Then you can kiss me goodbye,
