Past Mistakes
To my emotions: These tears break harder than dams cry.
Fall off my face as they hit the floor.
Setting a frown on my face like a crown.
Upset and mad. These bruises hurt.
Wish it wasn’t worse.
Losing one’s who were one.
Maybe I can just move on?
To my shadow: You follow me throughout my life.
Killing things that have crossed my path, oh why?
Nevermind the fact that I am here.
Darkness that engulfs the flames of lies.
You can creep up into my head.
Making me rot from the inside.
Fight or flight kicks an insticnt.
To my past: I’ve carved a casket for myself.
Bury my past and leave it alone.
These emotions always swallowed me.
Changing forever drastically.
Never staying the same for no reason.
Running out of the experience.
Losing hope in myself. Wishing for existence.
