Go down to Darr lake but be cautious

For there once an angelic girl

She was Beauty herself

Face as soft as a dove, body as a human swan

But mind as evil as doom

Her name was Bellie Darr

She was odd for she was in love with the water

Loved it so like a man

Her time was consumed by its waves

One day the water betrayed her as she swam in its embrace

It devoured her whole for she was never found

After that, body after body, soul after soul

Were all lost in the waters

Many believe it was Bellie

Her love for the water was still strong and as was her jealousy

For anyone who loved the water that was hers

Would suffer her rath

No one could swim in him, no one could love him

For she was the one who has the waters heart

And the water has her all
