I'd rather die
than put up with the ugliness
my words would carry more weight
if they came from pretty lips
My love would be a blessing
not a cause for ridicule
To want love seems like a crime
My own reflection in the mirror
is the cruelest punishment
None of my thoughts
cannot make up for my imperfections
Beauty is suffering
in its purest form
is equally unattainable
Distant and cruel
as God himself
