In My Hands I Hold Yours
In my hands I hold yours
So precious and small
And I stare at what has been done
You where that little girl
Who would dance and sing
Laugh out loud with no care in the world
How much life you had
Yet now
You look on with no life in you
For your body
is no longer yours anymore
I see how blood trickles down your legs
I look at your face and arms which are bruised
And the brokenness of your soul that hold my eyes gently
You have marks of men who have sinned against you
Man with ungodly minds who God even regrets giving life too
I stand where the river once met the moon
How impossible it seems
Yet It happened
You hold yourself as you tumble
I hold your limp body as your soul travels
No more sorrow for your little body
No more pain
No more
